Madhavi started her career as a teacher and later worked as a principal in a school. In 1994, he started ‘SpeakEasy’ which is a personality development school. The school was established in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Earlier, his son, Anand Deverakonda had worked at ‘SpeakEasy’ as a business development intern.

- According to some media sources, Madhavi played the role of a lecturer in the Telugu film ‘Dear Comrade’ (2019) starring her eldest son Vijay Deverakonda.
- During an interview, while talking about Madhavi, Vijay Deverakonda said,
I think when I was in third grade. My mom and dad are out. My sister and I decided to clean the whole house. He is in first grade and I am in third grade. We cleaned the house and made greeting cards with some pictures and hearts and wrote, ‘I Love you’. She started crying when she saw him. I don’t understand what made him cry. I think we didn’t understand the concept of happy tears back then. It made him emotional. So, that was my first memory of giving him something.”
