Madonna Says ‘It’s A Miracle’ She Is Still On Tour After Health Issues

Madonna is making waves in Belgium as she successfully continues her tour.

Given the challenges and obstacles the pop icon has faced in recent times, the singer herself referred to her tour as a “miracle”. Although the anticipated start of the tour still faces some disruption due to breaking a strict gig curfew in London, however, the Queen of Pop’s boundless energy continues to captivate audiences around the world.

Madonna’s Extraordinary Tour Continues In Belgium

The “True Blue” artist took the stage in Belgium and moved his audience as he shared a touching revelation about his recent health journey. Just four months ago, the actress faced a life-threatening situation that led to a hospital stay.

Now, against the odds, she stands before her fans, living proof of resilience and the power of second chances. In Belgium, a week into his visit, the 65-year-old began by reflecting on the recent past:

“Less than four months ago, I was in the hospital and I was unconscious, and people were thinking, predicting that I might not make it.”

Addressing the audience at the Sportpaleis in Merksem, he expressed his immense gratitude for the opportunities life had given him. He emphasized his deep gratitude for being on that stage, stating:

“It is a miracle that I am here now. My mother, God bless her, she must be watching over me — she said, ‘Girl, this is not your time to go.’”

Madonna put on an incredible performance last night. He said he was not well. It’s hard not to wonder if he really isn’t feeling well, going on the tour so soon after his illness. I hope he and his business man are taking good care of him. pic.twitter.com/FtboL4oqwD

Despite not feeling her best at the time, the “Like a Virgin” chart-topper mentioned the immense gratitude she holds for her children and the unwavering support of her fans. In his words:

“I was given another chance, so I’m very grateful for that. I must tell you I don’t feel very well now, but I can’t complain, because I’m still alive. Thank you God for my children and all your love and support.”

Because of what she considered the miracle of life, it prompted Madonna to empathize with her late mother, who battled breast cancer and died when she was just five years old. Recalling that time, the “Desperate Seeking Susan” star stated:

“I had this strange thought. I suddenly sympathized with my mother, not about the dying part, but how lonely she felt being in the hospital, knowing she wasn’t going to live.”

Fans will recall that in June, the “Dick Tracy” star’s manager, Guy Oseary, revealed that he had spent time in the ICU due to a bacterial infection. Although his health is worrying, his prognosis is optimistic.

After a three-month hiatus to ensure her well-being, Madonna finally launched her much-anticipated Festival Tour on October 14 at London’s O2 Arena.

As the “Body of Evidence” actor embarks on his famous global tour, he faces unexpected challenges. The second day of his comeback tour saw him struggle through a strict gig curfew, emphasizing the resilience that has defined his career.

Beginning at 9 p.m., he reportedly faced the constraints of the arena’s 10:30 p.m. curfew, leaving him with limited time to deliver his iconic song. Despite his best efforts, beloved songs like “Like a Virgin” and “Celebration” had to be left out.

Undeterred, Madonna extended her performance for an extra 30 minutes, ending at 11pm, albeit with a warning that some fans might miss the last Tube train. Accordingly, the “Hard Candy” singer could potentially face a hefty fine of £300,000 ($364,990) under curfew rules set by arena operators and Transport for London.

Apparently, breaking this curfew is punishable by a penalty of £10,000 ($12,166) for every minute exceeded. But there may be some hope for the businessman: Greenwich Council clarified that their midnight curfew was not breached.

A council representative also suggested that Madonna might avoid a large fine, stating, “We do not intend to investigate.” Despite this, concert-goers expressed their frustration on social media, with one fan strongly criticizing the venue’s strict rules.

The die-hard worshiper said angrily, “How dare the b—–s at the O2 cut Madonna short.”
