Maidaan is an upcoming Indian biographical sports film based on the golden era of Indian football (1952-1962) directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma starring- Ajay Devgn, Mahim Masum, Priyamani, Rudranil Ghosh, Aryann Bhowmik, Gajraj Rao and Nitanshi Goel.The Movie set in the golden era of football i.e. 1952-1962 and based on the life of the popular football coach- Syed Abdul Rahim, who managed the Indian football team for 13 years and laid the foundations of modern Indian football. The character of Syed Abdul Rahim is played by Ajay Devgn in the film. It will hit theaters across India on June 3, 2022.
