She made her acting debut with the 2020 Nelfix comedy series, “Never Have I Ever” as ‘Devi Vishwakumar.’ He was chosen by Mindy Kaling out of 15,000 candidates who had applied for an open casting call for the show.

His family came to Canada as refugees after the civil war in Sri Lanka (1983-2009). His father, Ram Selvarajah is an IT expert. His mother, Kiruthiha Kulendiren is in the field of marketing. He has an elder brother named Vishwaa Ramakrishnan.
