Reality TV star Mama June Shannon is dealing with incredible emotional and mental stress following the death of her daughter, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell.
News of Cardwell’s death comes after reports of his diagnosis with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in March.
Mama June recently revealed that there will be an opportunity for fans to pay their last respects in a public memorial service on Wednesday.

Cardwell died on Saturday after a long battle with cancer, and his death affected his mother in ways she could never understand.
Mama June recently took to social media to share with fans how she is coping with the loss of her first child.
The “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” alum told her followers that Cardwell’s death has left her devastated as his absence continues to resonate.
“My mind is very emotional and mental —– right now,” said Mama June in a post on Instagram and TikTok. “It’s very quiet here, the machines don’t work, [Anna’s] not sitting here watching a cooking show, and it’s so quiet.”
“The chair he was sitting in, no one is sitting in it now because it has a blanket and a pillow that he used, and that’s where he died,” he added.
Fans Will Have A Chance To Pay Their Last Respects

Mama June went on to share in her post that she and her family members will allow fans to pay their last respects in a public memorial service on Wednesday.
“On [the] White Columns funeral home in Gordon, Georgia, we allow you all to come from 2 to 3 o’clock for the pilgrimage,” he said. “At 3 o’clock, the service will take place … it will be a short but spectacular service.”
It comes after he announced in an Instagram post that Cardwell died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones and family members.
“It is with a broken heart that we announce that @annamarie35 is no longer with us,” Mama June wrote on Instagram. “He passed away at my house last night peacefully at 11:12pm. He gave an hour of fighting for 10 months he died with his family around him.”
Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell Wants Open Casket Funeral
Cardwell will reportedly be cremated, and his ashes will be shared with family members after an open casket funeral.
An open casket funeral will give family, friends and fans a chance to say their last goodbyes and pay their respects to him, as sources shared that that’s what he wanted because of his close relationship with fans.
His family also plans to have his fingerprints tattooed, with his remains used to make “special jewelry or crystals” containing his ashes. In addition, they will also get a memorial bench in his honor.
Mama June Gets Custody of Chickadee’s Child

After Cardwell’s tragic death, Mama June was granted custody of one of her late daughter’s children, Kaitlyn.
The reality star and her eldest grandchild reportedly share a special bond, leading family members to agree that it would be best for the 11-year-old to be moved to her grandmother’s home as Mama June finalizes plans to become her legal guardian.
Cardwell has two children by two different men, and the second, Kylee, is now reportedly living with her biological father following the death of her mother. Sources told the news outlet that plans had been made by Cardwell for Kylee to move in with her father if anything happened to her.
At the time of her death, she was married to her partner, Eldridge Toney, who planned to be present in her daughters’ lives, even though he was not their father.
According to reports, Cardwell secretly tied the knot with Toney on March 4 in Wilkinson County, Georgia, while undergoing chemotherapy, after previously expressing her intention to marry two months earlier when she was still feeling well.
The couple had planned to welcome a baby together before her diagnosis, suffering four miscarriages in the process. Toney reportedly treats the Cardwell children like his own and is expected to remain in their lives even after their mother dies.
