Man groped by Lauren Boebert during frisky ‘Beetlejuice’ date owns gay-friendly bar that hosts drag shows

A bar owned by the new photographer Rep. Lauren Boebert has performed at least one drag show, according to a review of social media posts.

In January, Aspen’s Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar, co-owned by Quinn Gallagher, held a “Winter Wonderland Burlesque & Drag Show,” an invitation to the event revealed.

In January 2020, Aspen Gay Ski Week hosted “an evening of cocktails, appetizers and laughs” at Hooch, according to a Facebook post at the time.

Gallagher, a Democrat, was captured on video getting frisky with Boebert, apparently holding her breasts as he appeared to rub her crotch as the pair took in performances of “Beetlejuice” and the Buell Theater in Colorado.

The two have reportedly been dating under the radar for months.

Boebert — who also has a long arrest history — has staked himself out as one of the most anti-LGBT members of Congress and a harsh critic of children exposed to drag entertainment.

“Take your kids to CHURCH, not drag bars,” he exclaimed on X, the website formerly known as Twitter, in June 2022. He has also attacked the use of drag queens to recruit soldiers.

“Do our military leaders understand that China and Russia see this and prepare accordingly? We need an army that doesn’t wake up. Better yet, the anti-wake army,” he said in May.

“I am a Christian. So they might try to push me to my knees, but that’s where I’m strongest,” he offered declaration of piety starting July 2020.

Many online commentators mocked the contrast between Boebert’s public and private life.

“And definitely don’t take it [kids] to see Beetlejuice (especially when you’re in the audience),” the head of the Democratic National Committee Jaime Harrison said.

Star Trek actor George Takei added, “Rep. Lauren Boebert, who urges parents to take their kids to CHURCH not DRAG SHOWS, was caught in a public performance of Beetlejuice, a children’s show, groped and groped by her boyfriend. I have experienced it with their hypocritical morals. They have no position to judge or restrict ANYONE’s personal life”
