Manila Pradhan was born in 1995 (age 24 years; as in 2019) in Namchi, South Sikkim. She gravitated towards modeling and acting from a very young age and always wanted to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Manila completed her studies in Pharmacy from the Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy in Sikkim. After completing his studies, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a course in acting and theatre.

Career
Manila started her modeling career in 2019 by participating in the modeling reality show “MTV Supermodel of the Year.” He auditioned for the show three times and finally received a confirmation call from the show’s makers. Despite the fact that she is not a professional model, Manila managed to impress the judges in the first episode of the show. Finally, she emerged as the winner of “MTV Supermodel of the Year” in a dazzling final on March 15, 2020. She participated in the competition beating Drisha More and Priya Singh. After winning the competition, he said,
It was nothing less than a dream come true for me. One of the strongest things I’ve learned and want to take with me from this journey is to be yourself. That is your ultimate power that no one else can have. All the judges on the show and the mentors are amazing. But I really have a special intangible connection and soft corner for Malaika maam and Ujjwala maam. It doesn’t matter how much they yell at me but in the end, it’s for my own good and personal growth.”

- Manila wanted to pursue fashion design, but she graduated in Pharmacy; because his parents asked him to do so.
- At first, her parents were against her decision to pursue modeling as her career. It took him around a year and a half to convince them and get their support. He said,
It was difficult to convince my parents and it took a year and a half to get their support. Until I started acting and modeling, I never got the chance to come out of my shell. I always wonder, will it work or not? Even when I was studying Pharmacy, I was skeptical and confused.”
- When Manila got a confirmation call from the “MTV Supermodel of the Year,” she was so excited that she arrived at the shooting location eight and a half hours before filming began.
- During the “MTV Supermodel of the Year” audition, Manila shared that she has faced several rejections in her life. Once, a member of his extended family said in front of his parents that he would not achieve anything in his life. That really hit him hard and pushed him to pursue his dreams and prove himself.
