Manish Paul is an Indian actor, model, anchor and television host. He is one of the most famous hosts in the Indian television industry.

Manish Paul was born on 3 August 1981 (age 40 years, in 2021) in Malviya Nagar, Delhi. His zodiac sign is Leo.
He attended Delhi’s Apeejay School and went to the College of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi to pursue a BA in Tourism. After completing his studies, Manish started organizing cultural events in schools and colleges. He later moved to Mumbai and started his career as a Radio Jockey.

Physical Transformation
In 2023, she had to follow a strict routine and diet to change her weight for her first web series called ‘Rafuchakkar.’ To fit his character, he gained 10 kilograms of weight, which took almost two months. Then, it took him two and a half months to return his body to its original shape. In an interview, when talking about her body transformation, she said,
I have always been a fitness enthusiast, although not a gym freak but I have worked for a healthy body. However, Rafuchakkar put me on a roller coaster ride of physical transformation. When I play cheats, I have five different looks and avatars. Nurturing my fit and healthy body for one of Pawan Kumar Bawariya’s looks, I had to resemble a normal middle-class and middle-aged man with a stomach, for which I gained 10 Kgs. To look again, I had to lose weight and gain muscle to play a gym trainer. Since I had just finished Jugjugg Jeeyo, I only had four months to make this drastic change.”

Manish Paul belongs to a Hindu Family. His father, Jagmohan Paul, was an accountant. His mother is a housewife. He has a brother, Vevek Paul, and a sister, Jyoti Paul Mohan.
He married his school girlfriend, Sanyukta, after dating for 13 years. Sanyukta is a teacher by profession. The couple has a daughter, Saisha Paul, and a son, Yuvann.
Career
Manish started his television career in 2002 by hosting the show “Sunday Tango” on Star Plus. Next, he worked as a VJ with Zee Music. After that, he joined Radio City as a Radio Jockey and hosted the morning drive time show “Kasa Kai Mumbai.”
In 2006, Manish appeared in the TV series “Ghost Bana Dost” where he played the role of a ghost. After that, she appeared in many TV serials like “Chhoona Hai Aasmaan,” “Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi,” “Zindadil,” “Ssshhhh…Phir Koi Hai,” “Wheel Ghar Ghar Mein,” and “Kahani Shuru with Love Guru.” However, she decided to quit the daily soap in 2008 and remained absent from television for 8 months.
In 2009, Paul got his break as a host in the Zee TV show “Ghar Ghar Mein.” His work was loved by the audience and paved the way for hosting shows like “Saa Ree Gaa Maa Paa,” “Dance India Dance” and “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.”
Manish made his film debut in 2013 playing the role of a computer geek in “Mickey Virus.” He has also appeared in lead roles in Bollywood films “Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive” and “Baa Baaa Black Sheep.”
Later, he also hosted shows like “Indian Idol 10” and “Science of Stupid.”
As a model, Paul has walked the ramp for various fashion designers such as Vikram Phadnis.

Controversy
- Manish angered Shahid Kapoor after he posted a picture of Shahid and his wife Mira’s wedding on Twitter. Later, Shahid made sure Paul skipped the shoot of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, at least for a day.
- Paul once again upset actor Shahid Kapoor by telling inappropriate jokes about his personal life on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 8. Shahid who keeps his personal life away from the media was annoyed by her comments and expressed it too.
- Manish attracted controversy when he replaced Drashti Dhami in the 7th season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. When asked about the same, Manish said, “Our friendship is not affected at all by this matter. I spoke to Drashti before starting the show. He is a very dear friend of mine. When I told him I would replace him, he accepted it well and there was no such problem. I don’t know why Drashti was replaced.”
- Paul courted controversy in 2016 when he was asked to do a film on homosexuality with Anupam Kher’s son Sikander Kher. Manish, when asked if he was comfortable doing the film, locked lips with Sikander in front of the camera.
