- In an interview, Manisha shared her challenging experience in Kolkata. She recounts working as a background dancer and waiter at various weddings, earning a daily wage of Rs. 500 as a server. Manisha recalls an incident when she was struggling to pay the rent. To overcome his financial constraints, he decided to work as a background dancer at events in villages around Kolkata and Bihar; Manisha got an offer to work on this show from a boy named Monty. On reaching the location, Manisha noticed that the other dancers were wearing revealing clothes and doing provocative moves. She, however, chose to keep her grace and refused to wear bold clothes. Manisha danced for about 10 days at this event, but she finally reached a point where she decided to return to Kolkata. When he asked the manager for payment, he insisted that he danced for two more days before receiving it. Manisha refuses and asks him to keep the money and let him go. The manager, however, locked him in a room against his will, insisting that he stay for two extra days. Manisha managed to find a way to escape from the situation. Stranded without a phone or money, she went to the railway station and called her boyfriend, who lived in Kolkata. He asked him to send Rs. 500 so that he can go back to Kolkata. On reaching the Kolkata railway station, where her boyfriend had come to receive her, Manisha fainted.
- According to Manisha, she decided to return to Munger, Bihar, after staying for a period of time in Kolkata, and she started making videos and uploading them on TikTok, which led her to several events in Patna, Bihar.
