In 1997, Manjima made her debut as a child actor with the Malayalam film Kaliyoonjal in which she played the role of Younger Ammu. After that, he appeared as a child actor in various Malayalam films such as Mayilpeelikkavu (1998), Priyam (2000), Madhuranombrakattu (2000), and Sundara Purushan (2001).
In 2015, he made his film debut as an actor with the Malayalam film Oru Vadakkan Selfie.

- At the age of four, Manjima Mohan started working as a child artist in films; however, in 2001, he decided to take a break from working in films due to his studies. In an interview, Manjima spoke about this and said,
I always wanted to be an actor. There was no other option in my mind,” began our conversation, “when I was a child artist, it was a great experience. But at some point I got tired of the lights and decided that I wanted to concentrate on my studies. After some time passed, I knew that acting was the only thing I wanted to do in the future.”
