But my advice to people interested in this field is to first achieve the qualification and then jump into it.

- He used to get Rs. 8,000 a day for filming in the late 1990s.
- He has been featured in more than 200 TV commercials. - He talked about being typecast in movies and TV series, in an interview, he said,
Look, I’m a realist. I know if I am in a city like Mumbai, I have to manage my kitchen. I have a family. Either I should stop acting in comedy roles in films and wait my life for a great opportunity, or I nurture the artist in me on stage where I experiment a lot. I’m not complaining, I’m trying to find ways to enjoy my craft. That’s what theater is for. Having said that we are in a good time now because people are making different kinds of films. Characters are changing, so actors like us (me) get a chance to do experimental work.”
