Manya started her career as a fashion stylist and later participated in several modeling competitions. After that, she got her first exposure with the Kannada television series Bili Hendthi, which aired on Star Survarna. Later, she worked in Telugu daily soap opera Bhagyarekha as Sirisha.
Manya gained popularity for her performance in the period drama Vaanathai Pola as Tulasi. In this serial the role of Tulasi was originally portrayed by Shwetha Khelge but after some time Manya replaced her in the role of Tulasi. The story of this serial is based on the beautiful relationship between brother and sister Chinrasu and Tulasi.
