Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd have settled their divorce after more than three months of court battles.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the former couple agreed not to pay each other any spousal support due to a strong prenuptial agreement. However, the country singer will shell out some money to Hurd in child support payments for their three-year-old son.
Maren Morris & Ryan Hurd Finalize Divorce
Morris and Hurd entered into a “written marital dissolution agreement” to finally go their separate ways and it includes their property and assets being divided according to the terms of their February 2018 prenuptial agreement.

In the agreement, both parties agree that they will waive their right to receive alimony/spousal support from the other. As for custody of their young child, Hayes, Hurd and Morris agreed to have joint custody and each have 182.5 days a year with their child.
The “80s Mercedes” singer was ordered to pay Hurd $2,100 a month in child support based on their gross monthly income. The document lists Morris’ monthly gross income as $210,534 and Hurd’s as $41,666.67.
Additionally, Morris will have custody of their son on even-numbered holidays while Hurd will have their three-year-old son on odd-numbered holidays. The same conditions will apply for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Spring Break and summer vacation.
Major decisions about religion, education, extracurricular activities, and non-emergency health care related to Hayes shall be handled jointly. Ultimately, Hurd and Morris agreed to “behave toward each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with that child notwithstanding their divorce.”

Remember that Morris and her ex-songwriter husband called it quits in October after five years of marriage. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
