On Instagram, Carey simply captioned one of the photos of the two of them looking ready for an exciting night, “Roe Roe Diva!👑…And MImi!!🦋💎” The gorgeous duo sported matching outfits and braided hair in perfect curls. Carey’s longtime boyfriend Bryan Tanaka commented with a red heart. Heidi Klum left, “😍😍❤️❤️” in the comments. Singer Anastacia wrote, “Mini Mimi🥰❤️I got it from my mama🤩.” Other friends and followers left similar messages with red hearts, heart eye emojis, flames and compliments.

Mariah Carey Is Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of “Butterfly”
Just a few weeks ago, Carey posted a photo of herself with Monroe’s caption, “Celebrating #Butterfly25 with my Roe Roe and getting ready for #GlobalCitizen! 🦋🦋” and many of his followers commented with heart, burning and excited.
Last month, Carey not only celebrated the 25th anniversary of “Butterfly” but also launched a collection of butterfly-themed jewelry with Chopard. She tells PEOPLE that she doesn’t “acknowledge the time.” “So 25 seconds, 25 minutes, whatever we want to call it. Seriously, after going through what I had to go through to create the ‘Butterfly’ album and break out of that shell…it’s been a part of me for 25 years and that’s pretty unbelievable,” he explained. “It really represents me as a person, and especially as a woman.”
When asked about her favorite piece from the collection, Carey said it was the butterfly necklace. “It is very symbolic. Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, and I talked on the phone sketching it,” he said. “It’s like when people come to the studio and we create something and they see it happen. He sends me a sketch and I’ll frame it. But first- ok i really need someone to help me figure out my closet.
