During Mariah Carey’s “Merry Christmas Everyone” performance in Toronto on Saturday night, she was joined on stage by a very special guest – her daughter Monroe! The 11-year-old joined her mother on stage for a duet of the classic hymn “Away in a Manger” and the audience was blown away by the amazing surprise performance.

The heartwarming moment happened in front of thousands of Carey fans during her iconic Christmas show. The mother and daughter team sat around Christmas decorations while singing holiday classics together, both wearing white dresses and glamorous matching headbands.
As soon as Monroe uttered her first few words, the audience cheered loudly for her. And every verse Monroe sang, the applause got louder. When the two finished the song, Monroe got up to leave the stage, but not before a kiss from her proud mother.
Carey posted a carousel of photos on Instagram from the memorable evening and many of her fans took to the comments section to leave their praise for the special performance.

Monroe, and her twin brother Moroccan, who Carey shares with ex Nick Cannon, have joined their iconic mother on stage in the past. They both joined their mother during the performance of “Always Be My Baby” during the “#1 to Infinity” residency in Las Vegas, as well as several other shows between 2017 and 2018. They also recently joined Carey’s performance during the Macy’s 2022. Thanksgiving Day Parade where the two children dance happily behind their mother who sings.
The “All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer shared a carousel of photos of the parade on Instagram with the caption, “Happy Thanksgiving!!!?
