She recently lip-synced to one of her mom’s hit songs, “It’s A Wrap,” which Carey, 53, shared on her TikTok and Instagram pages. The audience was able to share the nostalgia of the song, as well as see the comedic side of the iconic singer and his talented daughter.

Reminiscent of her mother’s fans, the 11-year-old grabbed the microphone, closed her eyes and gave it her all as she lip-synced to what Carey fans consider a nostalgic song. But she didn’t get too far into her little show before her famous mom crashed the party.
The caption on the video reads, “POV: Every time I try to practice some vocals,” and after watching the clip, viewers understand that means Carey crashes the scene, grabs the microphone and takes over the moment. Of course, it’s all in good fun as Monroe looks into the camera and smiles.
Fans of the pop star took to the comments section of the TikTok video to leave their hilarious thoughts on the mother-daughter duo. “? I can only imagine what it would be like to have THE Mariah Carey as your mother,” wrote one fan. Another added, “I love this so much!! Monroe is already a star ?.”
Fans also commented on the Instagram clip. Singer Al B. Sure commented, “???,” and TV writer, producer and actress Kenya Barris added, “Wait… is that your baby????”
Some people think that Monroe is actually singing instead of lip-syncing, which isn’t too far-fetched since Monroe has been known to sing with her famous mother publicly on more than one occasion.

This isn’t the first time Monroe has joined her mother on stage to sing. Monroe, along with her twin brother, Moroccan, sang “Always Be My Baby” at a show during Carey’s residency in Las Vegas a few years earlier. The twins also danced as Carey sang during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade last year.
Carey shared a clip of her duet with Monroe on Instagram and many fans are talking about how much they love it. “Monroe has a great future ahead of her just like her mother.
