During a recent Q&A session with fans on her Instagram story, the German beauty got personal about her relationship with the real estate agent. When a curious follower asked about the media personality’s interest in children, the model shared a lengthy response.
Understanding the nature of parenting, Nurk explained that he does not take the subject lightly as he believes it is an important decision to make in a loving relationship. “For me, having a child is something that should come from pure love between two people,” the blonde bombshell began.
“It’s not a decision to take lightly, and I believe that it’s important to have the right partner before considering having children,” continued the 25-year-old. Although the fashionista did not mention her boyfriend’s name, she insisted that a baby cannot be born without mutual consent.
“If both parties want to have children and are ready for the responsibilities that come with parenthood, I think it can be a beautiful and rewarding process,” wrote the social media influencer. “Watching little people grow and develop is an amazing thing to experience.”
Despite wondering how wonderful it would be to have children, Nurk noted that everyone follows a different path, and some people don’t feel the need to have children. Whether for or against parenting, the German claims the most important thing is to “follow your heart and make the decision that’s right for you.”
Finally, answering fans’ questions in her closing paragraph, the model wrote: “So to answer that question, yes, I would like to have children one day, but only with the right partner and when we’re both ready for that journey.”
Based on his response, the ball appears to be in the couple’s court, and the responsibility to be the “right partner” for the job rests with Oppenheim. The real estate broker previously admitted that he was not ready to start a family with the Paris-based model.
Despite entering her fifties, ET shared that the California native doesn’t see children happening anytime in the future. “I’m more open to being a husband than I am a father right now,” the 46-year-old said.
“I love the idea that there’s no pressure or thought about having a child with Lou. So it just makes it easier for us,” continued the founder of The Oppenheim Group. “I think for the next ten years, I’m good. And that was a long time ago, so I don’t think about it anymore.”
A month later when asked by E! News if she has had a change of heart on the matter, the former O’Melveny & Myers attorney stated that her stance on having children remains the same. As for his girlfriend’s thoughts on the matter, Nurk echoed similar sentiments.
“I’m 25 years old, so I don’t know. I’m not sure about that. So now, for the next five years, we will be good,” shared the media personality. The couple’s relationship came to light in July 2022 after they were spotted kissing in Mykonos.
