Marjorie Taylor Greene says she was ‘swatted’ on Christmas Day with her family: ‘The 8th time’

Rep. Right wing Marjorie Taylor Greene received an unwelcome Christmas surprise on Monday — with police called to the Georgia Republican’s home in the latest incident of “beating” harassment against her.

A spokesperson for the Rome Police Department confirmed to The Post that the 911 dispatch center received an emergency call to Greene’s address shortly before noon.

An individual called the suicide hotline claiming to have shot his girlfriend and threatened to kill himself, according to police.

“Our team in their response … coordinated with his security detail and it was determined that there was no emergency and he was safe,” the spokesperson explained. “Our feedback was actually canceled en route.”

“I was just beaten. This is like the 8th time,” Greene posted on X. “On Christmas with my family here. My local police are the GREATEST and don’t have to deal with this.

“I appreciate them very much and my family and I are happy to celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ!”

I was just beaten.

This is like the 8th time.

At Christmas with my family here.

My local police are the GREATEST and don’t have to deal with this.

I appreciate them very much and I and my family are in a joyful spirit celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ!

“Swatting” is a harassment tactic in which pranksters report fake emergencies to law enforcement in order to send officers to the victim’s address.

Many conservatives have been hit. Activist Jack Posobiec claimed his parents were beaten on Saturday.

In August 2022, someone called police to Greene’s home, using a computer-generated voice to claim someone there had been shot.

The incident appears to be related to anger over Greene’s stance on “transgender youth rights.”

In a subsequent post on Monday, Greene revealed that he received threats last week from a man who wanted to fight him.

“My opponent, big mouth. I will destroy your brain on the side of the road. Nice to see your shoulder bag,” the individual allegedly texted her on Dec. 21.

The man later claimed he was recruited by the FBI.

Greene further claimed that he went to the Capitol Police with the message and the man has not yet been arrested.

Capitol Police sent him an email stating the individual’s response to inquiries about the threat.

“The sheer rudeness of this email response and the fact that they didn’t arrest this guy is shocking, thankfully I’m a gun owner,” Greene said.

“I will never stop fighting for what is right and I will always put America first! It doesn’t matter what or who attacks me.”

Greene also teased that he intends to introduce legislation to crack down on beatings.

The Post reached out to the FBI and Capitol Police for comment.

Greene has been a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election cycle and has even thought about becoming his running mate.
