Actor Mark Hamill does not appear to be a potential spin-off for “Cocaine Bear” called “Cocaine Ewok.”
A fan shared a poster for the fictional film on Twitter, which caught the eye of the “Star Wars” alum. While some fans would love to see what would happen if a ton of cocaine landed on the forest moon of Endor, it looks like the actor behind Luke Skywalker’s character won’t be doing it!

In case fans aren’t familiar with it, “Cocaine Bear” is a movie directed by Elizabeth Banks. This horror comedy is loosely inspired by the real-life story of an American black bear who swallowed nearly seventy-five pounds of cocaine that went missing.
While there aren’t claims for a sequel, that doesn’t mean fans don’t want to see other bad things (and carnage) happen if other animals also come across cocaine in the middle of the woods. It gave one fan the idea to create a fictional movie poster for “Cocaine Ewok.”

The photo caught the attention of Mark Hamill, who shared it Twitter a page with the caption, “Pass hard”. Although he wants to move forward with the project, there are few fans who are invested in the possibility of the film coming to fruition.
“Will totally watch,” commented one fan. “But I just bought my ticket because I thought you were in it,” another follower joked. “Why!!!!” shouted a third fan. “But adventure…” another follower wrote. “Sniff loud,” another fan teased. “Come on, this is going to be an amazing movie,” wrote another follower. “I want to see that. I’m 100% on Ewok cocaine,” another fan added. “I’ll go see it,” another follower agreed.

The film is a horror comedy featuring a 175-pound American blackbag who stumbles upon a bag of cocaine in the woods. That actually happened in December 1985, although the bear died. The cocaine was dropped by Andrew C. Thorton II, a convicted drug trafficker, who smuggled heavy loads.
Thorton jumped out of the plane with a damaged parachute and died. Thorton, and the dead bear, were found three months later in northern Georgia along with forty opened plastic containers of cocaine. In 2015, the American black bear was nicknamed the “Cocaine Bear” when it was exhibited in Kentucky for the Kentucky Fun Mall in Lexington, Kentucky.
The film takes some liberties from the true story. The real Cocaine Bear is not known to have killed anyone after taking the cocaine. The film stars Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Christian Convery, Alden Ehrenreich, Brooklynn Prince, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Margo Martindale, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Ray Liotta. The film is dated to the late Liotta, who died in May 2022.
Mark Hamill Ready to Retire Luke Skywalker

While fans would love to see Mark Hamill return to the galaxy far, far away, it looks like he’s ditched his lightsaber. The 71-year-old actor originated the role of Luke Skywalker in the first “Star Wars” film: “A New Hope” in 1977. Although he reprized the role in the sequel trilogy, he stated that he was ready to shed the character while promoting his new film “The Machine. “
In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Mark Hamill told host Tracy Smith that while he was happy to see how much the character of Luke Skywalker meant to fans, he never thought that he would be remembered for the role.

“I mean, the truth of the matter is, I never really expected to be remembered for anything,” Hamill said. “I just want to make a living doing what I love. And I thought, ‘Well, it could be worse. I could, like, be known as the best actor to ever play Adolf Hitler, you know?’ At least Luke is admirable!”
When asked if he would return to play the character again, the actor said, “I don’t see any reason to,” adding, “Let me put it this way: I mean, they have so many stories to tell, they don’t need Luke anymore. I’ve had my time, and that’s good. But that’s enough.”
