According to the source, Renner believes “he survived the accident so he could use his platform to really make a difference in the world.” The actor, who revealed that he broke more than 30 bones after being hit by his snowplow, is now approaching his recovery and life differently.

Renner’s mother, Valerie, also reportedly lives with him and has been an “incredible” support system through recovery. According to Daily Mail, Valerie has been “by his side as much as possible” and was there “most of the weekend, as well as his daughter Ava.” Ava is Renner’s nine-year-old daughter with his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco.
A source for the publication stated, “He’s really just focused on his recovery and is rehabbing to learn to walk again. Jeremy knew he was very lucky to be alive. Every day is a little bit better than before and he’s definitely making progress, but it’s slow.”
Snow Plow Accident Occurred On New Year’s Day

Renner’s tragic accident occurred on New Year’s Day when he was run over by a 7-ton snow plow at their home in Lake Tahoe. The “Avengers: Endgame” actor was helping his nephew move his car out of the driveway due to heavy snow.
Unfortunately, while trying to help his nephew, the broken snowplow starts to move, so he tries to re-enter it and avoid it from the dangerous path. The actor was then pulled under the heavy vehicle and crushed.
A neighbor immediately called 911, worried that Renner would bleed to death, and in the background of the call, Renner could be heard screaming in pain. The actor was quickly rushed to a Reno hospital, where doctors listed him in critical condition with multiple broken bones, a collapsed body and a crushed chest.
Jeremy Renner Releases His Documentary In April
Despite the extent of his physical injuries, Renner is still releasing his documentary series on Disney+. The four-part series is titled “Rennervations” and details Renner’s “lifelong passion for giving back to communities around the world by reimagining unique vehicles purpose-built to meet community needs.”
In the trailer for the documentary, the “Hawkeye” actor joked that his “Avengers” fans think he’s “off the rails” because his new project is a different endeavor. He spoke further about the project and said, “I bought these decommissioned government vehicles to help reimagine them to serve this community again in a different way.”
