Mary Kom’s full name is Mangte Chungnejang Mary Kom. He was born on 1 March 1983 in Kangathei, Manipur. Mary Kom belonged to a very poor family and had a hard time throughout her childhood. His parents work in jhum fields. Mary Kom has her school from different schools.
He failed his high school exams and decided to drop out. After that, he appeared in NIOS Imphal and obtained his graduation degree from Churachandpur College. Mary Kom fined her inspiration from the success of Digko Singh in 2000 AD and she decided to land in the sport of boxing. He started taking his boxing training from M Narjit Singh who was the Manipur state boxing coach at Khuman Lampak Impala.
