A Massachusetts woman was indicted by a county grand jury on Friday in the murders of her three children in what prosecutors described as a premeditated attack while her husband was out.
Lindsay Clancy, 32, is charged with murder and strangulation.
He is currently being held without bail and is being treated at a medical facility.
Clancy was brought before Plymouth District Court in February.
A plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf in the court hearing.
A lawyer for Clancy, defense attorney Kevin Reddington, said at a preliminary hearing that Clancy may have suffered from postpartum psychosis – something the prosecution denied.

An email and phone call to Reddington seeking additional comment were sent.
Investigators said that on Jan. 24, Duxbury Police were called to her home and three children – ages 5, 3 and 8 months – were found in the basement.
Two have died and one died a few days later.
The state medical examiner ruled that the cause of death was asphyxia or complications from asphyxia.
The labor and delivery nurse is due to appear on the charges at Plymouth High Court at a later date.
