Five months after iconic rapper Master P lost his beloved daughter Tytyana Miller, the cause of her tragic death has been revealed.
The late Tytyana was only 25 years old when she was taken from this world, and she was deeply loved and mourned by her beloved father, who continued her legacy.
Cause of Death of Master P Tytyana’s Daughter Revealed
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner Department confirmed the cause of death to People Magazine. According to the publication, Tytyana died at a private residence due to fentanyl intoxication. His death was ruled an “accidental fentanyl overdose.”

The late daughter of the “Grab da Wall” rapper was just 25 years old when she died on May 27. Her famous father confirmed the heartbreaking news two days later in a touching post on social media. As reported by The Blast, he took to Instagram to share a statement about the passing of his baby girl.
“Our family is dealing with extreme grief over the loss of my daughter Tytyana. We respectfully ask for some privacy so our family can grieve,” the statement began. “We appreciate all the prayers, love and support. Mental illness & substance abuse are real issues that we shouldn’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this.”
Tytyana’s brother, Romeo also confirmed the sad news while mourning his beloved sister. He shared a statement that read, “Our family is dealing with immense grief over the loss of my younger sister Tytyana. We respectfully ask for privacy so our family can grieve.”
Romeo, who is also a rapper, revealed that he is “forever grateful for the memories I have with my amazing sister,” before advising his fans to “Love the ones you love, life is short.” She ended her message by writing, “The silver lining, I know she is in a better place and finally safe and free. God bless. -RM 😞🤍🕊.”
Master P Describes Daughter’s Death As ‘My Own Funeral’
About two months after Tytyana’s death, Master P, for the first time, spoke about the devastating effect his daughter’s tragic death had on him. As The Blast reports, the 52-year-old, while sitting down with Gayle King, opened up about his grief and his daughter’s battle with addiction.
Speaking about the pain of losing a child, Master P said, “It’s hard. Coming from poverty, you would think that you would outlive your children, and that is the mission. And I guess, going to my daughter’s funeral, I went to my own funeral. I don’t want to go to funerals anymore.”
He recalled the heartbreaking moment he received the news of Tytyana’s passing, describing it as “the worst call any parent can receive.” Nevertheless, the award-winning artist vowed that he would turn the pain of his loss into a passion to preserve his daughter’s legacy.
“I’m going to turn my pain into passion, and I’m going to turn it into purpose because I can’t get my daughter back. I love him and think about him every day, and me and my family need me to go through something that I can’t stop thinking about, but I know that I have to get out of here and help and save other children.”
The No Limit Records label owner also discussed his daughter’s struggle with addiction and how she was trying to get clean before she died. The late reality star was often candid about his battle with substance addiction on “Growing Up Hip Hop.”
“He’s getting better…just out of rehab, and he’s on the right track. And the sad thing about it, you know he made himself like, I want to do something to help people,” revealed Master P.
She shared that her baby girl is pursuing her dream of entering politics and is even working on writing a book. Despite the untold loss, Master P hopes to save another family from the tragedy.
He also hinted at the cause of his daughter’s death, saying, “My point is whoever’s watching this, love your loved ones while they’re here because once you walk out that door, you never know who’s coming back. We look at mental illness and substance abuse — it’s serious and affects everyone. Just a small dose of fentanyl can take your life, and destroy a family.”
