Actor Matthew Lawrence shares all the details about his romance with his new girlfriend, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas.
The couple, who became Instagram official in January, have been dating for months following the finalization of Lawrence’s divorce from ex-wife Cheryl Burke.
In a recent interview, “The Boy Meets World” star revealed that she and Thomas have plans to expand their family.
He also praised his partner, calling her “an incredible woman” and “very special.” The actress mentioned that she and the TLC star had a “similar upbringing,” which has helped strengthen their relationship.

Talk with Entertainment Tonight on Friday, Lawrence opened up about her relationship with Thomas, describing her as an “extraordinary woman” and “very special.”
The two began dating in November 2022 but announced their relationship two months later in an Instagram post.
Now, Lawrence has made it clear that she and the TLC singer are taking their relationship seriously and plan to grow their family.
“That’s the game plan. That’s what we’re trying to do,” the 42-year-old actress said when asked if she and Thomas were considering having children.
He added, “My life is in full swing right now. I get to spend time with an amazing woman like Chilli. I’ve never been able to experience that kind of relationship before. She’s really special.”
The actress added more praise to her boo, saying she “wishes there were more people on the planet like him.”

In her interview, she also shared some of the qualities that endeared her to their blossoming relationship.
“He’s just, you know, his morals and his values,” Lawrence said of Thomas. “The way he treats his family. He loves my family, very important.”
More importantly, he noted that the two of them have a lot of chemistry, which has helped them overcome different situations during their time together.
She continued, “We get along. We’ll be on the phone and he’s like, ‘My mom called me.’ I was like, ‘Go get it. I know how important that is.’ The same thing my mom calls me. It’s not like, ‘Why are you talking to your mom?!’ It’s like, ‘Oh, your mom. Go talk to your mom,’ you know?”
Lawrence also mentioned that their “similar upbringing” played a major role in helping them bond better.

Unsurprisingly, Lawrence and Thomas’ relationship has excited their friends. In a statement to Many people last month, longtime Thomas representative Christal Jordan shared that Lawrence’s presence in her client’s life has given her a glow of health like never before.
He said, “I have been with Chilli since 2005, and I have never seen him in love like this. He is glowing. They are so cute together,”
At the time, Jordan also confirmed that the couple spent the holidays together, including Thanksgiving and Christmas, and that the actress had met the Thomas family.
In his interview with ET, Lawrence also mentioned meeting the TLC singer’s family, including her son Tron, who she shares with her ex, Dallas Austin. He also revealed that Thomas has also been in touch with his family.

Their divorce documents listed that they had separated a month prior to the filing, although the separation was finalized in September 2022.
