“[His partner] said he was exhausted [that day] and over the past week. Fewer than usual. He played for an hour and then went home,” said Billy Bush, a friend of the late actor.
This suggests that there may be something medical going on that is not being diagnosed, which could be the cause of the fatigue. The post-mortem report and toxicology report should be able to answer more questions about the late actor’s unexpected death.
Prescription anti-depressants and anti-anxiety drugs were reportedly found at Matthew Perry’s home following his tragic death, although sources say no illegal narcotics were found at the scene.
Bystanders Tried to Save Matthew Perry’s Life

The person who found Perry in the hot tub tried to pull his head above the water and was able to get him to rest on the side before emergency personnel arrived on the scene. Unfortunately, it was too late.
“An observer has brought [Matthew’s] head above the water and brought it to the side [of the hot tub], then firefighters pulled him out of the water,” said LAFD spokesman Nicholas Prange. “A quick medical assessment, unfortunately, revealed the man was deceased prior to the arrival of first responders.”
