Career
Mattia Perin was promoted to the Genoa first team in January 2010. However, he spent most of his time on the bench and finally made his debut in 2011 against Cesena. In the 2011–12 season, he was loaned to Serie B team Padova. Mattia returned to play on loan for Serie A side Pescara. Then, from 2013 to 2018, Mattia was a solid player for his team Genoa. Perin was recruited by Serie A heavyweights Juventus in 2018 for a fee of 12 million Euros plus 3 million Euros in incentives.
He also won the league with Juventus, although he has only appeared in a few games since he became the backup goalkeeper. He eventually returned to Genoa on loan in 2020 and will play for them until the end of the 2020-21 season. Mattia Perin is the first choice goalkeeper for the Italian U-17 national team.
