Career
Tamojit Chatterjee who is also known as MC Headshot comes from Kolkata, West Bengal. Since he was a teenager, he was very interested in rap where we can express or tell our story poetically. So, he started rapping in 2019 when he was persuaded by some of his friends.
MC Headshot has appeared as a contestant on MTV Hustle season 2 which is India’s first Rap/Hip-Hop reality show. The show aired on MTV channel with Baadshah as judge and Dino James, Dee MC, King, EPR as Squad Boss and hosted by Krissann Barretto. His performance was so catchy that even the jury members couldn’t stop themselves from jamming. He was highly appreciated for his performance by Baadshah as well.
Before appearing on MTV Hustle 2.0, he paved the way to the finals of Red Bull Spotlight, a nationwide hunt to discover and support India’s best rappers. He entered the competition by attending the qualifying round in Kolkata and was later shortlisted as a contestant.
