Beautiful actress Meagan Good looks back on her divorce from ex-husband DeVon Franklin and reveals how veteran actress Whoopi Goldberg was a huge source of help.
Good talked about the divorce story during a recent interview he had to help promote the new season of his Amazon Prime Video series, “Harlem,” in which he stars alongside Goldberg.
The “Day Shift” actress married Franklin in 2012 and shared ten happy years of her life with the film producer until the two parties decided to separate in December 2021 and later finalized their divorce in June 2022.

Appearing on the daytime talk show, “The View,” the actress looked radiant in a brown crushed velvet blazer and her black hair was styled in a short wavy pixie cut.
Interacting with the talk show’s hosts, including her co-star Goldberg, Good shed some light on her life and what she’s learned since her divorce from Franklin after being asked questions about the touchy subject.
Answering a question about what she learned through her divorce with a smile on her face, she began by saying, “I’ve learned a lot about myself. I have rediscovered myself in many ways.”
Crediting the veteran actress for the role she’s played in his life, Good, pointing to Goldberg and continuing, said, “I also have to say again, Whoopi was instrumental in that because we had some really good conversations that I needed that enlightened. me and opened eyes for me.”
Seemingly excited about her future, she revealed that she is embracing her new life with gusto, admitting, “I didn’t know what to expect, and it was pretty amazing.”

Opening up about the post in her caption, she began by writing, “This time last year, as I was excited for my 40th birthday, I had no idea just a few weeks later I would find my life would change dramatically. .”
She went on to reveal how she had some flashbacks during her birthday month and admitted she felt “strong.. Most of the time.. But still lost at times.” Deep down, she added she still has “moments of sadness” while recovering. The “Stomp The Yard” actor, however, optimistically revealed that he’s “trying to figure out God’s plan knowing everything He’s doing.. But also still trusting Him- completely…”
Ending her heartwarming message with some words of motivation, she encouraged her followers and anyone going through a tough time to know and believe that they are “worth it”.
