Meenal Saahu is an Indian actress, dancer and model, who mostly works in Hindi and Tamil films. She is best known for playing Mumtaz in the Hindi-language gangster-thriller web series Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu (2021), which aired on ZEE5 and ALTBalaji.

He attended Krishna Public School, Raipur. Meenal was inclined towards dance from a young age and when she was in class 6, her mother enrolled her in Bharatnatyam classes. Later, he trained in various forms of dance. Growing up, she wanted to be a model. When Meenal was in class 11, she started tutoring junior class students in Raipur. Although Meenal got admission in KC College, Mumbai, after passing class 12, her father did not allow her to move to Mumbai at such a young age. Meanwhile, her father was transferred to Delhi, where Meenal continued her studies. During her college days, Meenal started belly dancing with Mehar Malik. He also joined a theater group and did several plays. However, it did not work. Soon, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a graduate program at the Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts.

Meanwhile, he also auditioned for several TV commercials but failed miserably. Meenal then attended several acting workshops to learn the art of acting.

Meenal Sahu started her career as a dancer with the Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts. He was associated with the institute for about 5 years. As a part of Shiamak Davar’s dance crew, Meenal performed as a background dancer at many big events and award shows like IIFA 2016 and Zee Cine Awards 2018.
