More information about Next Level Chef season 2
The structure of Next Level Chef season two will be similar to the first, with additional challenges awaiting the contestants. The 18 chefs participating in the culinary competition have to perform under three different conditions in three different kitchens depending on their mentor. Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington, and Richard Blais, chef mentors, will strive to bring out the best in themselves until they choose the top member of their team. In each episode, the chef must create a dish to please the judges and avoid elimination.
This season’s winner will be crowned ‘Next Level Chef,’ receiving a $250,000 cash award, and one year of mentorship from the judges.
The season was described by Fox as follows:
“The legendary epic gastronomic gauntlet returns to its glory days. Each floor of the three-story building has a very diverse kitchen. The ingredients complete the atmosphere, from the sparkling upstairs to the depths of the difficult cellar, as Gordon Ramsay believes that the ultimate measure of a great chef is not just what they can achieve under the best conditions, but the kind of magic they can create under the worst!”
Season 2 of Next Level Chef will air on Fox on Sunday, February 12 at 10:30pm ET, following the Super Bowl. Keep in mind, after the debut episode, the program will run every Thursday at 8pm ET.
