Ethan Quinn is an American professional tennis player. He is the youngest child of his parents, Christopher Quinn and Shelly Quinn. Quinn comes from a broken home. Kim Duchscher, a native of Princeton, New Jersey, is her father’s current fiancee. Furthermore, Ethan’s mother is a lawyer, while his father, Christopher, is an entrepreneur and consultant. Ethan Quinn, born on March 12, 2004, picked up his first tennis racket and ball when he was just two years old.
He started playing tennis at the age of six, which led him to join Brad Stine’s academy and eventually become his current coach. Ethan then attended San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno, California, and began playing tennis at a young age. Quinn then enrolled as a top national tennis recruit at the University of Georgia in January 2022. He won doubles in the 2022 USTA Men’s 18 National Championship at that time.
This gave him and his partner Nicholas Godsick a wild card into the 2022 US Open main draw, resulting in their victory. However, in the same tournament, the Fresno native lost in the singles final against Learner Tien. Ethan just won the 2023 NCAA Singles Championship for the Georgia Bulldogs in May before turning pro a month later in June.

Quinn’s father, Christopher, is an avid athlete who enjoys tennis, golf, sailing, camping, snorkeling and Alpine skiing in his spare time. Christopher, on the other hand, is a professional entrepreneur and consultant. He currently works as a Renewable Energy Consultant at Solar Partners.

Quinn has also worked as a Land Surveyor, Elevator Attendant, Warehouse Manager, Bartender, Realtor, Advertising Specialist, Sales Manager, and various other jobs during his career. In terms of schooling, Ethan’s father graduated from San Diego State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. In 2013, he received his MBA from California State University.
Ethan’s mother, Shelly A. Quinn, is a lawyer. She has been the Managing Partner of LFLM since 2001. Shelly, on the other hand, began her career as a paralegal representative in 1989, after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University.
