Thaddeus Moffitt was born on September 12, 2000, to Rebecca Petty and Brain Moffitt. Thaddeus Moffitt grew up in a racing family, with his ancestors including his grandfather, Richard Petty, and his uncle, Kyle Petty, both famous racing figures.
