Actress Megan Fox has hit back at the “psychos” and “weirds” who angered her for not donating to her friend’s GoFundMe page.
Fellow “Jennifer’s Body” actress, Nails of LA creator Brittney Boyce, launched a GoFundMe to help her father, who was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. While the actress shared a GoFundMe link on her Instagram Stories and asked fans to donate, some felt it was hypocritical for her not to donate herself.
On Thursday afternoon, Fox took to his Instagram Stories to address the backlash against him, explaining that he didn’t want to make his friend uncomfortable and damage their business relationship by giving him a large sum of money.

On Thursday evening, the “Transformers” actress released a brief statement regarding the online criticism surrounding Brittney’s GoFundMe page. The actor began his statement by writing, “Hey weirdo” before he went on to call out users who criticized him for not publicly donating to his friend’s GoFundMe.
“Do you have the emotional intelligence to consider that maybe Brit doesn’t want her celebrity clients to donate large sums of money to her because it creates a dynamic in her working relationship that makes her uncomfortable?” he asked. “So it’s not like he asked me to post a GoFundMe so people can donate small amounts of money to help them reach their goals.”
“I just fulfilled his request. Whatever he needs from me personally, he will ask and I will do it personally,” continued the actress. “One thing you won’t accuse me of being stingy or ungenerous. So try again another day (maybe tmwr!) with some different bulls— you bunch of psychopaths.”

On Monday night, the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” actress took to her Instagram Stories to share a screenshot of Brittney’s GoFundMe with her 21.3 million Instagram followers. The petition, titled “Michael’s Medical Expenses,” has now raised $7,886 from 230 donations. That goal has doubled from $30,000 to now $60,000 since the actress shared it online. Some fans have donated hundreds of dollars, with $300 being the largest amount donated so far.
“My friends [sic] dad was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer if you can help please do,” Brittney wrote with a prayer hand emoji. He explained how his father had some health issues last month and ended up seeing a doctor for a CT scan last week. The 64-year-old “has missed a lot of work on this and I assume he will miss more,” according to the petition.
At this time, it appears that he is not receiving treatment, and will discuss options with his medical team next week on how best to continue his medical treatment. “I know things are hard for everyone right now but if you can donate or share it would really help. He picked up his first prescription yesterday and it is not covered by insurance. itself and not stress on finances.”
Machine Gun Kelly Gets a $30K Diamond Manicure

Brittney’s initial asking was $30,000 and many fans couldn’t help but point out that $30,000 is also the cost of the diamond encrusted manicure that Megan Fox’s fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, got for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. The manicure has more than 880 diamonds, weighing more than 11 carats , and, awkwardly enough, was created by Brittney herself.
Many fans felt uncomfortable that the actress didn’t donate herself publicly, and took to the FauxMoi Reddit page to call her out. “I feel very uncomfortable when rich celebrities post GoFundMe pages for people they know. I know we don’t understand the full situation, but it always gives me a bad feeling,” wrote one user. “Rich people should really cover this up. Sorry, not sorry. Stop hiding money and ask your poorer fans to help,” another agreed.
While some fans thought it was “creepy” for the actress to ask others to donate without doing so herself, based on her recent statement, it appears she is taking steps to help Brittney personally.
