Actress Megan Fox is publishing a book of poetry called “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.”

The “Jennifer’s Body” actress revealed the news to her Instagram followers on Tuesday morning, revealing that the intimate poem will spill some of the “secrets” she’s carried with her throughout her “lifetime.”

On Tuesday afternoon, the “Transformers” actor took to Instagram to share the cover of his new poetry book, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.” The cover features an illustration of a black snake weaving through a pair of lips with a ring on the lower lip.

“These poems were written in an attempt to eradicate the disease that had taken root in me because of my silence,” he wrote. “I’ve spent my whole life keeping men’s secrets, my body aches from bearing the burden of their sins.”

“My freedom lives on in these pages and I hope my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and identity by using their voice to illuminate what has been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness,” he concluded.

In a video for the 2023 issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, the 37-year-old actress admits she has never loved her body. In an interview transcribed by People magazine, the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” actor admitted that he struggles with body dysmorphia and has trouble viewing his body positively.

“I have body dysmorphia – I never see myself the way other people see me,” Megan said earlier this year. “There was never a point in my life where I loved my body, never, never.”

“When I was little, that was an obsession I had, but I had to see it this way,” explained the actress. “And why I had this awareness of my young body, I’m not sure, and it certainly wasn’t environmental because I grew up in a very religious environment where corpses were not recognized.”
