Actress Megan Fox is publishing a book of poetry called “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.”
The “Jennifer’s Body” actress revealed the news to her Instagram followers on Tuesday morning, revealing that the intimate poem will spill some of the “secrets” she’s carried with her throughout her “lifetime.”

On Tuesday afternoon, the “Transformers” actor took to Instagram to share the cover of his new poetry book, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.” The cover features an illustration of a black snake weaving through a pair of lips with a ring on the lower lip.
“These poems were written in an attempt to eradicate the disease that had taken root in me because of my silence,” he wrote. “I’ve spent my whole life keeping men’s secrets, my body aches from bearing the burden of their sins.”
“My freedom lives on in these pages and I hope my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and identity by using their voice to illuminate what has been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness,” he concluded.

In the caption, she wrote, “I wrote a book” along with a broken heart emoji. “Pre-order now at the link in my bio. Out November 7.” Her fiance, Machine Gun Kelly, was one of the first to comment, writing, “Proud of you” along with a fire emoji. The couple’s relationship has been up and down over the past few months, but fans seemed to support their relationship in the comments.
It looks like Fox’s new book may rise to the top of the bestseller list quickly. “Never pre-ordered something so fast,” commented one fan. “I’ve never wanted to buy a book written by a celebrity until today,” another follower shared. “Congratulations Megan!!! So proud of you and can’t wait to read this,” a third fan chimed in while another follower begged him for a signed copy.
Megan Fox Has Previously Admitted ‘Never’ Loved Her Body

In a video for the 2023 issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, the 37-year-old actress admits she has never loved her body. In an interview transcribed by People magazine, the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” actor admitted that he struggles with body dysmorphia and has trouble viewing his body positively.
“I have body dysmorphia – I never see myself the way other people see me,” Megan said earlier this year. “There was never a point in my life where I loved my body, never, never.”
“When I was little, that was an obsession I had, but I had to see it this way,” explained the actress. “And why I had this awareness of my young body, I’m not sure, and it certainly wasn’t environmental because I grew up in a very religious environment where corpses were not recognized.”

“The journey to love yourself is never-ending, I think,” she added, before the mother-of-three added that there was “definitely a lot of pressure” during the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover shoot.
“I have a vision in my head that I’m trying to achieve, so we’ll see if it works out for me,” he said, adding, “What I want people to know the most is that I’m a genuine soul who hopes to belong and not must live as a misunderstood outcast.”

The “Till Death” actress first opened up about her struggles with body dysmorphia with British GQ Style in October 2021. “We might look at someone and think, ‘That person is so beautiful. Their lives must be so easy.’ They most likely don’t feel that way about themselves,” he said at the time.
She recalled how, in 2009, she found herself constantly being sexualized in film and media after the release of “Jennifer’s Body.” He went on to say, “It’s not just the movie, it’s every day of my life, all the time, with every project I work on and every producer I work with.”
