Megan Thee Stallion Snuff Out Any Remaining Thoughts On Justin Timberlake Feud

Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake have nothing but love between them.

To that end, he uploaded a short clip of himself and the “Too Late to Apologize” hitmaker having a fun chat during the same event.

Megan Thee Stallion Reassures Fans of Her Bond With Justin Timberlake

As reported by Variety, footage from MTV’s backstage live feed showed Megan seemingly arguing with Timberlake before or after performing with Cardi B for their new collaboration, “Bongos.”

According to the video, the five-time American Music Award winner let her hair down as the “Friends with Benefits” actress appeared with her *NSYNC bandmates.

While walking past, the “Mirrors” singer leaned in to say something to Megan, who responded by pointedly pointing her finger and turned away looking angry. At this point, the group’s Joey Fatone, who was also seen laughing, said something.

Within hours of the reel going viral, various sources spilled the tea on what was going on between the entertainment giants. As one person stated, “Meg loves Justin. He said, “No, no, no, we’ve never met before. It was their first time meeting, and he was excited.”

The excitement was reflected in the footage shared by the 28-year-old woman through her Instagram feed. He was seen making animated gestures while talking to the camera after focusing it on Timberlake, who was next to him.

The “In Time” star responded to what he said with a hearty laugh, as the content of the conversation was drowned out by the track playing in the background. In the caption, Megan wrote:

“I’m just talking with my hands ??‍♀️ lol @justintimberlake love ya ?.”

The “Hot Girl Summer” rapper was instantly captivated by her fans, as one of them enthusiastically exclaimed in the comments, “PERIOD! Shut up haters!!!!!!!!!!” and the second claimed, “It’s annoying because you have to explain it.”

“Imagine… jumping to conclusions and immediately assuming a black woman is angry,” said a third cybernetic, and a fourth said, “All of us other than the committee talking hands and heads rolling know it’s all love.” The fifth netizen added:

“It’s crazy how quickly the media tries and pushes the “angry black woman” narrative out of context. Everyone knows what a passionate person you are and that’s why we love you.”

“And this is why social media is annoying. Y’all take a clip and RUNNNNNN,” a sixth Instagram user stated, as a seventh added, “Ok bro, since we’re not playing with you, we’re ready to RIDE.”

The return of the VMAs brought with it a star-studded lineup of performers that had audiences at home fully engaged. Cardi and Megan were among the brightest stars to grace the stage, delighting the audience with their sensational single “Bongos,” as we mentioned above.

For their set, the reigning rap legend arrived in a matching skimpy blue outfit and danced on a tropically decorated stage featuring palm trees and vibrant club lighting. While the “Bodak Yellow” rapper paired a little blue dress and ankle boots, her fellow Texan shined in a bolder ensemble that slightly accentuated her waistline.

Cosmopolitan said the pair’s hit song was released just before the VMAs on Sept. 8, marking Cardi and Megan’s first collaboration since their record-breaking hit “WAP.” The 2020 single made history by becoming the first female rap collaboration to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and stay at the top of the chart for four weeks.

Given the incredible success of “WAP,” it’s no surprise that the dynamic duo have teamed up once again for “Bongos.” The single has racked up millions of views since the beach-themed music video premiered on YouTube last Friday.
