She added, “I’ve been beaten, verbally abused, intimidated, threatened, and harassed with no signs of slowing down or ending, and it’s killing my soul.” King went on to claim that while no one in the legal system bothered to help her or her children, she relied on Instagram’s subscription model which has been therapeutic to her healing journey.
He explained that the feature provided a way to “release the abuse I was constantly receiving without having to think about it or repeat it.”
Additionally, it validates his experience and serves as a “safe haven of solidarity” for people with similar experiences. The TV personality then brushed aside the “mom/work struggle,” which she’s been able to manage so far thanks to the subscription model, as she can be there for her kids while still making money.
