Meghan Markle Is ‘Riled Up’ Over The Royal Family Having ‘Different’ Rules For Her

Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has reportedly had enough of accepting a different set of rules by the monarchy.

Reports have swirled that the former “Suits” actor is “furious” about the situation and doesn’t “understand” why things turned out the way they did.

It was previously reported that Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, plan to reunite with King Charles III this year.

Markle allegedly feels the royal family has “different” rules for her despite marrying into the monarchy.

From facing media scrutiny over her projects to issues over her comments about “The Firm,” the former “Suits” actress has had a challenging time settling down since marrying Prince Harry.

According to reports, this situation “shocked” her, especially since the Duchess’s friend, Sarah Ferguson, apparently got away with the same thing that got her into trouble.

“The thing that really upsets Meghan is that Fergie is appearing on things like the ITV daytime show ‘This Morning’, ‘Loose Women’ and calling herself the Duchess of York, selling books and possibly doing adverts all under the Royal Family,” Royal expert and commentator Neil Sean had this to say about the pair.

He added, “Meghan and Harry don’t seem to understand why the rules are different for her.”

Royal Author Claims Meghan Markle ‘Wants To Be Queen’

Queen Elizabeth's Friends HUNT Meghan Markle For Joining The Royal FamilyMEGA

It comes after reports that the Duchess of Sussex “wants to be queen,” which is said to explain her and her husband’s desire to rejoin the royal firm, according to New York Post.

According to royal author Tom Bower, Meghan hoped to do things “her way” when she joined the royal family, but she quickly discovered that “the royal way” was the only way.

She and her husband then left England for America in 2020, resulting in the loss of most of their royal privileges. Their move to the land of opportunity led to the pair landing lucrative multi-million dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify, although the latter have since terminated their contracts.

Bower went on to claim that Meghan has regrets about the move, as her counterpart, Princess Kate, who is married to Harry’s brother Prince William, seems to be getting all the attention.

“Kate shines, Kate succeeds, Kate is popular – everything Meghan wants,” added Bower.

Now, it is expected that Harry and Meghan will reunite with Prince Charles this year in a bid to end the long-running feud between their families. The last time the Sussexes saw the King was at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral last September.

The two reportedly made the reconciliation move because they knew that “they needed the King and his blessing far more than the King needed them,” as royal author Ingrid Seward noted in her interview with GB News, per mirror

Seward also mentioned that a possible meeting between the two sides next year would be an opportunity for King Charles to see his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, again.

“Obviously, King Charles wanted to see his son and his grandchildren, and last summer, he apparently invited them to Balmoral, which they declined,” Seward told the publication.

News of Harry and Meghan’s plans to reunite with King Charles comes after they first reached out to him in a phone call on his 75th birthday. Their friendly conversation reportedly marked a “tipping point” in their relationship with him and was seen as an early attempt to rebuild relations with the king.

As well as Harry and Meghan speaking to the King, their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, also sent their grandfather happy birthday wishes. They did so via a pre-recorded video in which they were seen singing “Happy Birthday.”

Harry and Meghan did not attend the royal celebrations despite having contacted the king. At the time, it was claimed that the two had yet to receive an invitation from The Firm.

As for their proposed visit, it is still to be determined when it will happen. However, previous reports suggested that it could take place at the King’s home in Scotland, without Harry’s brother, Prince Williams, present.
