The Blast has shared news about various aspects related to “Archetypes.”
According to a teaser for the podcast, Markle gave listeners the 4-1-1 about the premise of the podcast. According to one of our coverage, Markle shared, “This is ‘Archetypes,’ a podcast where we dissect, explore and subvert the labels that try to hold women back.”
She would go on to explain the premise of the podcast, “This is how we talk about women: the words that raise our girls, and how the media reflects women back to us. But where did this stereotype come from? And how do they continue to emerge and define our lives?”
Markle hosted her friend Serena Williams as her first guest. Pop diva Mariah Carey will continue as the podcast’s second guest.
“Archetypes” will top Spotify’s podcast charts, even dethroning Spotify’s favorite controversial Joe Rogan podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.” (per The Blast)

The aforementioned joint press release between Archwell Audio read in part, “Spotify and Archwell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we created together…” According to Vanity Fair, the dissolution of Prince Harry and Markle’s deal resulted in the termination of Gimlet, which the publication reports is the studio that has joined the couple’s deal.
The publication also shared that the dissolution of the agreement had nothing to do with these 200 layoffs, per Variety.

The dissolution of the couple’s agreement, however, does not mean the end of Markle behind the microphone. He allegedly plans to “develop more audio content,” the outlet reported according to the WSJ.
“Meghan continues to develop more content for ‘Archetype’ audiences on other platforms,” the newspaper reported.
The final episode of “Archetypes” aired last November and featured Andy Cohen and Bravo’s Judd Apatow as guests, along with Trevor Noah. The four of them discuss actions that transcend various societal stereotypes. Markle used her two male guests to get men’s perspectives on how they can help combat these stereotypes.
