Meghan McCain still has a bitter taste in her mouth when it comes to her former colleagues and workplace.

McCain exited the popular daytime variety talk show, “The View” in August 2021 on heated terms and has spoken out about his experience with the show’s co-hosts and management.

More than two years after her exit, the political commentator has more to say about the “The View” woman who brought up her name at every opportunity, calling her a “bully.”

McCain made a recent appearance on Michael Malice’s “You’re Welcome” podcast where he opened up about the ongoing defamation allegations by his former co-hosts, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, Alyssa Griffin, and host Sunny .

When asked by the host when he realized that the producers of “The View” hired him to be the “bad guy” and “an object of ridicule to facilitate more drama,” McCain replied, “It’s weird that we’re talking about The View because I don’t know if you have seen what happened today.”

The TV personality recalled the Dec. 14 episode when Navarro compared him to Hunter Biden while discussing his foreign business dealings being investigated.

“This evening I picked up my daughter from school,” he said. “And I’ve had a couple of friends text me that Ana Navarro has compared me to Hunter Biden and insinuated on air that I’ve basically done the same thing that Hunter Biden has done.

The Daily Mail columnist declared that he had never done anything illegal and was discussing a possible lawsuit with his legal team because “I was accused of a crime at ABC News and it was serious.”

Opening up about being constantly harassed by his former colleagues, McCain said: “I can’t go like a week without something being said about me on this show.”

He continued, “The thing about The View is that I didn’t know when I signed my contract with ABC that this was forever, that for the rest of my life, I was going to be bullied, berated, abused, and raised for years. I’ve been for years not on the show!”

The mother of two who stated she was just trying to live her life and raise her daughters further lamented, “I didn’t know that when I signed on to do this show that I would have to deal with, like, this. crazy old people just scream about me all the time.”

McCain noted that he hasn’t thought about his former co-host or the show in months but they can’t say the same about him. “Apparently, I’m only in their thoughts every day. And it’s sad,” he concluded.

During the episode McCain referenced in the interview, Navarro and the women were discussing Hunter Biden’s allegations when he said, “Look, did Hunter Biden influence-peddle his last name? Yes he did. So is half of Washington. The person sitting at this table did it!”

Meghan McCain Calls Out Ana Navarro’s Speech

After the episode aired, the daughter of the late Senator John McCain wasted no time publicly slamming Navarro. He took X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, and wrote, “I don’t understand why my former colleague @TheView @ABC brings me up and slanders me almost every week. It’s been years – go ahead, I have.”

He continued, “I have never been accused of a crime in my life and I am a patriotic American – I will not and have never been ‘influenced’ in my life, let alone by a foreign enemy. Not all politicians’ children are the same – and I am not Hunter Biden. All allegations are absurd, defamatory, and slanderous.”

McCain ended the post by writing, “I will consult with my attorney about what was slandered against me on The View this morning.”

Fans immediately came to the television personality’s side, declaring that “The View” was taking things too far. “It’s pretty bad for Ana Navarro. I’m going to take legal action,” said one fan while another wrote, “Would’ve liked Whoopi Goldberg to at least say something like ‘That’s not a fair thing to say so let’s move on…’”

Another comment read, “Meghan – comparing you to Hunter Biden is horrible. What a shame,” while this follower advised, “Sue them for defamation. This is getting out of control.”
