After facing negative comments music made about teachers on her podcast, Meghan Trainor is trying to do better.

The “Made You Look” singer commented, “Guru F,” during the latest episode of the “Workin’ On It” podcast with guest Trisha Paytas. After being called out by many teachers on social media, he apologized in a TikTok video.

In a viral apology video, she said, “I love teachers, I fight for teachers,” and now the singer is acting on her words. In a series of recent Instagram Stories, she celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day and asked teachers to share their Amazon wish lists with her.

Meghan Trainor’s TikTok Apology Not Widely Accepted

There have been over 4.6 million views of the “Dear Future Mama” author’s apology video on TikTok, with 34,000 comments flooding the comments section, many challenging the singer to do better and saying the apology was not accepted.

Many teachers jumped into the comments to leave their thoughts on what Trainor said during the podcast.

Trainor’s latest podcast episode begins with a second apology directed at teachers.
