Megyn Kelly said that former President Trump has lost “multiple steps” mentally and is no longer the same man he was in 2016.
The podcast host and former Fox News anchor says the 77-year-old former president is starting to show his age — and it’s not pretty.
“There’s no question Trump has lost a step or a few steps,” Kelly told conservative commentator Glenn Beck on Friday. “He confused Joe Biden [Barack] Obama … I know he’s now saying he did that on purpose — go back and look at the clip, it wasn’t intentional.”
“References about how someone is going to lead us into World War II, confusing the country, confusing the city where he’s from, and it’s happening more and more,” he said.
“This is what happens when you’re 77 years old. Trump seems inhumane, but he is not inhumane. He is a human being. He’s a man,” continued Kelly. “DeSantis’ line about ‘Father Time spares no one’ is great. So, look, if it’s between Trump and Biden, I don’t think there’s any question who’s fitter and more capable. But are we really going to pretend that Donald Trump is as passionate and mentally sharp as he was in ’16?”
