Now it looks like he may have a chance to start healing for real now that the question of how the singer passed has been answered.

The symbol has her name, date of birth and death and her custom “Love” signature in the center. Clearly emotional, she wrote above the image, “My Love ?,” in tribute to her son’s late father.
According to official reports, Carter died of drowning in his bathtub while under the influence of aerosol dust and the powerful sedative Xanax. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office reported that the 34-year-old man was found unresponsive and submerged in his bathtub by a housekeeper who had knocked on his door to offer him coffee.
His toxicology test results showed the presence of “difluoroethane,” a gas commonly found in aerosol cans and compressed air cans. According to the report, the substance “can cause a feeling of euphoria when inhaled. It is known to have cardiotoxic effects that can cause cardiac arrhythmias and sudden cardiac arrest.”
In addition to the presence of difluoroethane in his system, the toxicology report also revealed the presence of Xanax, a commonly prescribed benzodiazepine. The report states that this drug, “has a depressant effect on the central nervous system that can cause drowsiness and sedation.”
Metabolites from both antihistamines and quetiapine were also found in his body. ‘Quetiapine’ is commonly used to treat depression and is classified as an antipsychotic drug.
As to why he drowned, the report states, “Based on the autopsy findings, investigative report, and circumstances, as currently known, Mr. Carter became incapacitated while in the bathtub due to the effects of inhaling compressed gas and taking alprazolam.”

It further noted that the substance caused him to sink into the water, unable to breathe, which ultimately resulted in his death. According to the document, “the cause of death was suffocation due to the effects of difluoroethane and alprazolam. The manner of death is an accident.”
