Methodist church pastor accused of dealing crystal meth out of rectory

A Connecticut Methodist pastor has been accused of distributing crystal drugs from his church rectory, police said.

Herbert Miller, 63, pastor of Woodbury United Methodist Church, was arrested Friday after police were alerted to a sideshow the pastor claimed was reminiscent of the plot of “Breaking Bad.”

The Walter White-looking pastor was busted at a drug-dealing site allegedly set up by a cooperating witness who tipped off police, local newspaper the Republican-American of Waterbury reported.

Miller was pulled over by state troopers in Woodbury and found to be in possession of crystal methamphetamine in both rock form and in liquid form in a hypodermic needle, ready for injection, according to a press release from the Connecticut State Police.

Miller allegedly used drugs in exchange for watching gay couples engage in sexual activity, local newspapers reported, citing police.

The Post could not independently verify the allegations and reached out to state troopers for further comment.

The priest was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia, among other charges.

Miller was released on $10,000 bail and ordered to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on February 23.
