Career
Hyojeong Park started uploading vlog videos in 2022. He often uploads his travel videos and live streams on his channel called Mhyochi. Park being harassed while she was broadcasting live for her fans went viral on social media. She was roaming the streets of Mumbai and was filming with her camera when two men, out of nowhere approached her and molested her, oblivious to the fact that it was all being filmed. However, the man still followed her to her hotel room. Fortunately, he is later rescued by two men, Aditya and Atharva, watching his live broadcast nearby.
This video went viral and the Mumbai Police started to act, finally the two accused, Mobeen Chand Mohammad Shaikh and Mohammad Naqeeb Sadrealam Ansari were arrested. Park praised the local authorities and appreciated them for taking immediate action. The incident sparked outrage on social media and sparked much debate about women’s safety in public spaces.
Despite this horrific experience, Park said his love for India has not diminished even an inch. He said, “This could happen anywhere in the world. I don’t want people to think or frame that this happened because it’s India. I met a lot of great people along my journey. It’s just an unfortunate incident.”
