Michael did his schooling from Good Shepherd International School Ooty and went to PSG College of Arts and Sciences Coimbatore to pursue his B.Sc. in Computer Science (24 June 2013 – 03 May 2016). Michael was good at sports since childhood. While in college, he was a national level basketball player. Ajay wanted to take up basketball as a profession, however, a drunk driver hit him and he broke his ankle. He had to undergo major surgery to repair three severed veins. After that, he rested for about four months. During that period, Michael suffered from depression. During his sophomore year of college, Michael did a three-month summer internship with Goldman Sachs, an investment banking firm in Bangalore.

Career
Michael started his career as a part-time writing consultant with the company EF Englishtown Bangalore (now, EF English Live) in 2013. He worked there until June 2016. In 2017, Michael joined Transformation Tribe Fitness, Bangalore as a personal trainer. Michael has done print shoots for many brands such as Ajio Life.
