Michael B. Jordan is reflecting on his special bond with Chadwick Boseman!
The iconic actors stole the hearts of millions around the world with their phenomenal performances in the MCU film, “Black Panther.” However, the co-stars barely had time to bask in the spotlight together as Boseman left us too soon.
Three years after his unexpected death, his friend and TV brother opened up about the life lessons he learned after meeting the late actor. You might need a tissue for this one!

The California native recently appeared on the talk show, “The View.” Wearing a pink knit cardigan over a white tank, the 36-year-old looked dapper as ever, adding a touch of bling with a gold chain and diamond studs in his ears.
Although the discussion revolved around his career and the legacy he wants to leave for the younger generation, the highlight of the talk show was the “Just Mercy” star’s revelation about his late friend. When one of the show’s hosts asked about fond memories she shared with Boseman, Jordan became emotional.
The NAACP Image Award remembers when he knew he and the late actor created a lifelong bond. “There was a moment on the press tour – we were backstage, we were in London, and we were getting ready to watch the film for the first time together,” the entertainer began.
“And we looked at each other, and we were like, you know, ‘we’re connected our whole lives.’ I just remember sitting there and having a real, momentary connection with him,” the TV personality continued, noting that the exchange happened before Boseman went public with his health issues.
“Obviously didn’t know anything at the time. I didn’t know, so when things happened the way they did, and unfortunately, we lost him, it stuck with me,” the Teen Choice Award winner confessed.
The “Fruitvale Station” actor praised his late co-star as a “hard worker”, explaining that he continued to work until his last moments. To Jordan, Boseman’s dedication to his career during his personal battle with colon cancer was a great gift. In the words of a California native:
“That’s what he left for us. You know, just every moment you get, make the most of it. Life is short. You have limited time with the people you love and the things you love to do. So make it worth it and make it worth it. That’s what I take with me as I move forward.”
The deep bond between Jordan and Boseman began long before the pair met on the set of “Black Panther.” According to reports, the late “42” actor was cast as Reggie Porter in the soap opera, “All My Children” in 2003. However, the South Carolina native felt uncomfortable with the role.
His character is a member of a youth gang, which Boseman believes is a negative racial stereotype. Although the show’s cast adapted the role using “some” of Boseman’s suggestions, they replaced him with 16-year-old Jordan. When the “A Journal for Jordan” star took on the role, she wasn’t aware of the older performer’s part in changing characters.
“I played this role not knowing that a lot of what I’m going through is because of what he’s done for me,” the 36-year-old admitted in a 2019 interview.

Two years may have passed, but time has not lessened the impact of the South Carolina native’s passing. Lupita Nyong’o, the actor’s on-screen love interest in “Black Panther,” led the anniversary tribute by sharing a touching video of the late icon.
Winston Duke, a Marvel movie actor, reposted the clip on his Instagram page with a touching caption about Boseman’s personality. “He was a very generous and loving human being,” the actor said in his message.
Letitia Wright, who played the late actor’s older sister on screen, said she misses hearing the entertainer laugh. Plus, fans honored the “Get on Up” star’s legacy with sweet messages, many discussing what they love most about Boseman.
