Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen confronted a woman on the Upper East Side Friday tearing down a missing Israeli hostage leaflet – sparking a tense confrontation.
“What is your problem?” Cohen snaps at the well-dressed middle-aged woman, wearing sunglasses and a beige trench coat and holding a tote bag, video obtained by The Post shows.
“This is illegal. Turn yourself on, crazy. You should go to jail,” replied the woman.
He also appeared to confuse him with hedge fund billionaire and Mets owner Steve Cohen.
When Michael Cohen asked for the woman’s name, he said it was “Steve Cohen and I should go back to jail because I’m a s—t.”
When contacted by The Post, Michael Cohen said he wanted to get the woman’s name and hold her accountable.
“Walking down Park Avenue at the corner of 61st street, I was shocked to see racist and antisemitic people tearing the faces of missing children posters and laughing about it. There is no place for people like him in a civilized society,” he said.
