Zach Shallcrosss’ season of “The Bachelor” is almost halfway over, but former “Bachelorette” leads Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young have chosen the next “Bachelor.”
While fans don’t yet know who Shallcross ends up with at the end of her season, Kufrin and Young are hoping that one woman in particular really ends up being sent home because they want to see her as the next lead on “The Bachelorette.”

Michelle Young and Becca Kufrin currently co-host a podcast called “Bachelor Happy Hour” where the two discuss what’s going on in “The Bachelor” franchise, as well as have special guests appear on the show from time to time.
Just last week, one of the remaining 11 Shallcross women, Charity Lawson, appeared on a podcast, where Young and Kufrin addressed child and family therapists. “You are me and Becca girl!… This girl is going to go far!” Young said to Lawson before Kufrin chimed in, adding, “You’re our favorite!”
While fans of the show will have to wait to see who ends up stealing Shallcross’s heart in the end, Kufrin has already suggested that if Lawson is single, maybe he could be the franchise’s next lead. “Who knows, maybe Amal — you never know — maybe you’ll have to live together… date multiple guys and have your family watch it again [one day],” Kufrin joked.
“If you need me to fly to Georgia so I can start getting your dad ready to see you on screen a little bit longer, you know, maybe try to find your own person,” Young said hinting that maybe Lawson could be the show’s next lead.
Young did admit that Lawson could be with Shallcross, and if that’s the case, he hopes she’s happy, however, if she’s single, the former “Bachelor” boss wants to see her return to the franchise.
“However, here’s the thing. Becca and I know jack sh-t; we only manifest. If you are with Zach, I hope you are happy. But part of me was also like, can she not?,” Young said before Kufrin added, “I’ll just say it: I hope you’re not with Zach and I hope you’re The Bachelor! I’m saying it now!”

Charity Lawson has quickly become the frontrunner on this season of “The Bachelor” after she developed an instant relationship with lead Zach Shallcross.
While introducing the woman of the season Zach Shallcross, host Jessie Palmer said, “It’s easy to see what makes Charity so appealing! With a smile that lights up a room, a great career and a sweet personality to match, Charity is the complete package!”
Palmer went on to describe the child and family therapist from Columbus, Georgia as a loving and caring individual, saying, “Jelita Georgia took her name as a calling to love and care for people and has built her life around that. Amal is a health therapist mental and very passionate about helping people live their best lives.”
He continued, “Now, he’s ready to receive the love he gave to so many others! Amal hopes that her future husband will be honest, loyal and share the same morals. She said she was excited to meet Zach and thought the two of them could be the perfect couple on paper. Time will tell if they are also the perfect couple in person!”
Zach Shallcross’ season of “The Bachelor” continues Mondays at 8pm ET on ABC. Episodes are available to stream the following day on Hulu.
