That’s the question Mindy Kaling asked during a recent appearance on “Good Morning America” when the topic of “The Office” came up in the chat. And of course, in typical Kaling style, she has the perfect idea about her popular character and what she’ll be up to next.

“I think he’s probably going to quit Dunder Mifflin to be influential and then maybe get canceled right away,” he said. “So that’s what I’m going to see for him. In fact, most of the characters in the show would probably be canceled by now.”
Several “The Office” fans took to the comments section of an Instagram clip posted by “Good Morning America” to agree with Kaling’s thoughts on her hit television show character.
“He’s right! The Office wouldn’t be allowed to air if they created the show in 2022. I love The Office. Best show ever,” wrote one fan. Another added, “We support Kelly Kapoor. Always and forever.” And another fan agreed saying, “LMAO I can 100% see it.”
One fan has a different idea about where Kelly Kapoor would be now. “Oh no Girl, she’ll probably have her own makeup brand by now and spell all the T’s on Bryan’s relationship status on her tutorials???”
“The Office” Is Not Something Mindy Kaling Plans To Show Her Children Anytime Soon

When asked about her plans to introduce her children, Katherine Swati, 4, and Spencer Avu, 2, to the hit show, Kaling said, “probably never” with a laugh.
“The show was very inappropriate. We always talk about writers, I’m still in touch now, we talk about a lot of shows that we might not be able to do now,” he said. “Tastes have changed and honestly what offends people has changed a lot now and so I think that’s actually one of the reasons the show is popular because people feel there’s something fearless or taboo that’s being said on the show. “
As if her children will watch the show one day, she says, “I think when they’re teenagers, they might want to.”

Kaling also discussed the launch of Mindy’s Book Studio and her first book, “The Vibrant Years” by Sonali Dev. Kaling explains that this is one of the most exciting things she is doing right now.
