In Minecraft, some players like to build in very secret places—like under layers of bedrock that can’t be broken. It’s a bit tricky because of The Void, a place where you can fall and get hurt. But don’t worry! If you use Creative Mode, you can create a safe starting area to build under bedrock.
Building under bedrock can be a bit confusing, so let’s break down how to do it easily.
Step by Step Guide
Step 1: Get Creative
In Creative Mode, you can break basic rock blocks without any special tricks. This makes construction under bedrock easier. Here’s how you get started:
- Make a 3×3 hole in the bedrock layer.
- Place the block in the center of the hole.
Step 2: Meet Your Chicken Friend
Now, let’s bring a chicken into the game. Chickens will help us build safely in The Void.
- Use the eggs laid by the chickens to get chickens.
- Attach the lead to the chicken so that it stays close to you.
Step 3: Build a Secure Platform
Create a safe platform for you and the chickens. Follow these steps:
- Replace the middle block with a fence.
- Put the chicken on the fence. It will float to the bottom but remain attached.
- Add more fence posts around the block above the fence.
- Remove the blocks, leaving the chicken floating on the fence platform.
Step 4: Prepare Your Base
Prepare your building area under bedrock:
- Add a slab to the corner of the 3 × 3 hole.
- Place the four boats in the corners on the slab.
Step 5: Make a Miracle
Time to let your chickens and bots do their thing:
- Row the boats to the corner so they rest on the slab.
- It is flushed with the fence post placed in Step 5, then destroy the slab. This can be simplified in Minecraft Java by pressing F3 + B to show the hitbox so you don’t accidentally break the bot.
- The boats will stop when they touch the chicken in front.
Tips for Success:
- Practice Makes Perfect:
- The chicken may move around a lot. Practice placing the boat to get it right.
- Use multiple boats for more space to build.
- On-the-go storage:
- Rope a llama-like mob with crates for extra storage as you build.
That all! As long as one boat stays on top of the chicken, you’re ready to build under the bedrock. With a little practice, you’ll create amazing things in Minecraft, even in the mysterious Void beneath the bedrock layers.
